Best Friends No Matter What

I've written about my best friend before. We've known each other since elementary school and were inseparable in middle school and she moved away in high school. It was a rough adjustment and we've never lived closer than an hour away since then. I visited her in her house with her boyfriend for the first time yesterday and we had a blast and took some crazy pictures (see some below!).

I was thinking about how some people just click. We're so different. I'm tall and she's short. I'm a city girl in every way and she's a country girl. She wants to work in the medical field and I want to be a writer. The list could go on...but the great part is looking past all these differences, we are perfect best friends. No matter how many months go on, when we visit each other it is like nothing ever changed. We bring out a goofy side in each other that many others probably never see.

So here's to having a best friend that is like your sister. Even though sometimes it hurts when she's far away and that we have to settle for a phone call rather than a hug...it is nice to know she's always there and so am I.

Enjoy the silliness! ;)

  1. Awww hahaha, you guys look like you have so much fun together :D You two remind me of my two friends, cause they're so different from each other, one's tall and one's short etc., but they're best friends too. I've never had a best friend that was like a sister, but it sounds wonderful :)
