It is all Connected

I'm a strong believer that everything happens for a reason. That strings of events are connected and the good and bad moments inside these events shape you and color your life and ultimately lead to something that will change you.

For example, it all started when my parents bought the house I live in. Then when new neighbors moved in. When we became friends with these neighbors. When one of them got me a job at my place of work. When I developed a crush on one of my co-workers. When we started a tango of dating, first kisses, and first relationships. When I met all of his friends. When we broke up and I still kept in touch with his friends who went to my college and he went away to school. When I became best friends with one of these friends who is now my boyfriend of over two years and when I kept some of these girl friends that are my closest friends. When the ex and I finally are able to be good, trusting friends.

Would I be with my great boyfriend today if I didn't go through a relationship that didn't work out? If I didn't get the job I got? All these questions can come up...but I'm just glad what happened, happened. All the sad times and the happy.

It all works out. The ups and downs and things you may not even realize connect. I promise. :)

Also, don't forget to enter the giveaway! It ends soon!

  1. That's always so cool to look back and realize that if one little thing hadn't happened in your life, basically everything would be different! It's so strange how life words in funny ways like that.
